Fossil fish from the Green River Formation in Wyoming USA.  These tiddlers are 47 million years old and make a very attractive wall plaque or ornament – a great gift for an angler!  The Green River Formation is famous because on this site, volcanic activity caused the pollution of an inland sea, depriving it of oxygen.  This, in turn, killed and preserved an extensive fauna of  fish as well as  land creatures from the edge of the lake – crocodiles, birds, lizards, insects and plants –  giving a complete view of the eco system at the time.  We are unconsciously standing on our own history and this is your chance to own a piece of it!   Will be supplied with stand – or we can have it framed for you – contact us to arrange.
